BronyCAN is a fan-run My Little Pony convention based in Richmond, British Columbia. BronyCAN was the first My Little Pony convention in Canada, and is returning for a second year on the 22nd-24th August 2014. This year, we stand united against an invading changeling horde and their vicious leader, Queen Volucris.

All five seasons of character design for MLP:FiM are represented in this panel. With many years of animation experience, Nicole Gauss, Kora Kosicka and Rebecca Dart will discuss the ins and outs of drawing characters for our favourite animated series. Come and learn how a brief description in a script becomes a character that you all know and love. Topics will include the challenge of turning ponies into girls and how to create a character that can be "read" as evil or good at a glance. How does one exactly put a dress on a pony?
